Week 17

Lindsey Lohan's punishment for stealing the necklace has been shrunk to 14 days in jail or in home confinement. She has been cast in the upcoming film, "Gotti," but if she doensn't get her act together, her acting career may be introuble. Do you think Lindsey's jail sentence should have been reduced to 14 days verses the original 30 days in jail? Do you think she should be recast in the upcoming film as another punishment for her missconduct?

I think Lindsey's sentence should have gone for the whole term because she is a human being too, just with a famous name. She should get the same treatment and justice as everyone else who commits a federal offence. She should also be recast in the film because it will act as a further punishment instead of a reward.

  1. I think that Lindsey Lohan should have been stuck with the original 30 days. Just because she is a "movie star" doesn't mean she should get special treatment. However, I don't think she should be recast from her movie.

  2. When is enough enough? She has repeatedly broken the law. Lock her up and quit giving her second chances.

  3. America gives its celebrities too many chances. She has continuously broken the law and committed crimes. She needs to be put in jail permanently, or at least longer than 14 days, or she won't learn her lesson.

  4. I think that she should have served her full sentence. Why should movie stars be treated any differently than the rest of us? just for being a star i think she should serve a longer sentence!
